Chicago area Paint the Parks100 Exhibit Highlights Indiana Dunes

The Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore and the Lake County Convention and Visitors Bureau partnered to bring the 2008 Paint the Parks100 Exhibit to the Chicago area at the Indiana Welcome Center in Hammond, Indiana. The exhibit began with an opening night reception on October 1st. According to Katie Holderby, executive vice president of Lake County Convention and Visitors Bureau, the exhibit was well received and they are looking at future dates to hold the exhibit again. The new 6500 sq. ft. contemporary exhibit space fashioned after the rolling waves and dunes of Lake Michigan was an exceptional venue for the Paint the Parks100 exhibit.

The Old Courthouse is part of the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial, and the exhibit was sponsored by the Jefferson National Parks Association. It was an incredible venue for the first show of this year's exhibit season.
